What is
VOB files are DVD quality video file format that is of very high quality and is used for burning onto DVD’s. These files are generally very bulky and are often a few gigabytes in size and so cannot be burned onto CDs.
These files have data stored within then which includes for both high quality video as well as high quality audio. These files also can optionally incorporated subtitles for the movie to be displayed along with the movie.
These video files are usually encoded using the MPEG-2 compression algorithm for streams and can be opened using several video playback software applications available for all the different operating system platform.
